What Does Crop Marks and Bleed Mean on Canva

Crop marks define the printed area while bleed marks are a slight extension over the printable area. The bleed area prevents cutting of elements that are supposed to be part of your design.

 To create bleed lines on your design;

  • Select your template.

  • Go to File and scroll to View Settings.

  • Then scroll down to show print bleed.

  • A dotted border should appear on your template.

To create Crop Marks;
